This self-paced online course is designed to equip employers and host organizations with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to create high-quality Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) experiences. Developed by ACE-WIL BC/Yukon and delivered through the Thompson Rivers University (TRU) learning platform, the course focuses on practical strategies to support meaningful and compliant WIL placements.
Participants will explore best practices in recruitment, onboarding, supervision, legal compliance, feedback, and long-term program sustainability. The course is structured to ensure that employers can create mutually beneficial WIL experiences that support both organizational goals and learner development.
Upon successful completion, course takers will receive a certificate of completion and a digital badge, recognizing their commitment to providing quality WIL opportunities.
