        University or college campuses that are rural/regional are often called "satellite" campuses as they typically orbit a main or mother campus and offer a smaller sample of courses rather than full programs or degrees.  Often, satellite campuses focus on courses that prepare students for the workforce.  This is why industry experts are key partners in education for these sites and courses!
