    In this section are examples of a new faculty member's "first day" checklist, "first week and beyond" and a university Faculty Association and Collective Agreement.

    The Collective Agreement is a RULE BOOK for all campus faculty that is negotiated by the Union (faculty association) and the Employer or Institution.  It spells out everything to do with faculty work, titles, job expectations, processes for hiring, discipline and other supervision, leaves, benefits, workload, how to get tenure, promotion or other rank changes, etcetera.
